Partnership expands English teaching into China

EnglishINCambridge it delighted to announce a partnership with Chinese businessman and entrepreneur Eric Chan. Eric visits Cambridge frequently to visit his daughter, who is studying for A-Levels in the UK, and is helping to promote the brand in the cities and Shenzhen and Hong Kong. “We will offer online studying opportunities for Chinese school children and adults with the aim of taking Cambridge exams and coming to the UK to continue their studies,” says Eric. “I am meeting the principles of local educational centres and have arranged for brochures to be distributed and promotional banners put up in the centres.” The first Chinese student has already enrolled for 1to1 online classes. John, 8-years old, from Shenzhen is studying from the Global English learning book and focussing on improving his pronunciation and expanding his vocabulary.
